This “original kneeling chair” is in excellent overall condition with only minor evidence of use. Cushions are firm with no indication the chair was heavily used. The only significant wear is to the bottom where the wood contacts the floor and even that is minor. See last photo for example. The beige fabric is in great shape with only a couple of very small and faint stains that require extremely close examination to notice. This is considered the “original kneeling chair” and ...was designed by Peter Opsvik. It went into production by Stokke in 1979. Similar chairs are sold by others today and considered imitations of this original. Not sure when this specific example was manufactured but sometime between 1979 and 2006 when Varier gained the rights. Varier sells this chair new today starting at $399.Chair will be disassembled for shipping and comes with the required 5mm Allen key wrench. Ships to lower 48 states only and no PO Boxes.
