At one time, the well-known Aviation writer and Historian Bill Gunston was given access to the earliest Soviet Astronauts, Yuri Gagarin and Alexei Leonov and had the opportunity to ask of them, as Fighter Pilots, which of the West's aircraft concerned them most in that discipline. They turned to each other briefly and without hesitation asserted that it was the F-8 Crusader which would tax them most greatly in the air. Fondly referred to as 'The Last Gunfighter', the Crusader gained an... enviable record in the air over Vietnam.
This vintage kit comprises parts and markings to build the model in either a US Navy, or US Marine Corps airframe and includes underwing ordnance to suit.

Some second-hand items may still have the original price ticket\s applied on the boxes or packets. Where these are extant, I do not remove them, due to possible packaging damage. Original prices marked on boxes will in no manner relate to the agreed auction sale. That might sound a silly thing to say, unfortunately experience has shown it to be necessary to specify.
Experience is showing that not all communications sent via Ebay are successfully recieved at my end. If you ask a question and you hear nothing back, there is a good chance I didn't get the enquiry. If that is the case, please repeat your question - please don't assume I'm already aware of any questions or problems you may encounter.
Some items may have the original shrink-wrap seal protecting them, or have a form of packaging which cannot be broken without disturbing the original nature of the package. Where items match that nature, it will be clearly identified as 'Sealed and unchecked'. Where I specifically identify such, I cannot be held responsible for any deficiencies or damage the item may have suffered - on those occasions 'Caveat Emptor' will apply.
Items are subject to returns with strict regard to Ebay stipulations. If your item is significantly different from description, a full refund will be awarded upon safe return of the item. Item must be returned via a Recorded mail option so reference to its sending can be made. Partial refunds will not be made - only full refunds as per Ebay and Paypal policy.
Parcels will be sent as soon as practicably possible after payment. In most cases, successful bidders will recieve their item in a few days. As a rule of thumb, if you have not seen your item after a period of 28 days has elapsed from the point I advise you item has been sent, please get in touch, if I have not contacted you already. Feedback issued upon feedback recieved. Not everyone likes leaving it, but if you normally don't, please still let me know when you have recieved your item. On very rare occasions, experience shows, I attempt to contact a buyer with regard to an item they have bought, to ensure buyer has recieved their item safe and sound. In one or two cases, buyer has decided that a reply is too much trouble for them. In these very rare cases, if I do get in touch to check on the status of an item, should I recieve no reply, I will take that as a default position that buyer has recieved their item successfully, and that no further action needs to be taken.
I get online around once per day. If you do have a question, I will usually be able to answer it quite soon, but please be patient. Items will be packed as appropriate. Delicate or easily crushed items will not be sent out in padded envelopes, but properly packed in boxes. Experience shows that Royal Mail is the better default option of the main British Postal Companies. Therefore, for larger parcels, I will normally utilise Royal Mail Second Class Recorded - Parcelforce is not recommended, they are expensive, slow and not particularly reliable. Sadly, these days, it's not unheard of that parcels go missing. Insurance will be available on items, but this must be specified by buyer at purchase. Otherwise only the default cover under the postal service utilised will apply to parcel. I will combine items for sending in a single parcel for better economy. However, items may be combined from one week's sales listing only. I will not hold onto items for a week to combine with items from a subsequent week's listing.
Should your parcel be subject to a delayed journey, seller will help buyer locate item to the level which is appropriate. I will provide tracking numbers and sent parcel details, but if buyer will not put themselves in a postion where they might recieve assistance in these matters, or will not enter proper communications, then I will conclude that any further assistance by myself is either unneccessary, or unwelcome.
Overseas bidders\buyers.
The recent overhaul in the British Mail system has created a clause by which, any parcel measuring more than 90cm in the mathematics of length + width + thickness, or exceeds 2 kg in total weight must go via a service which is expensive, and highly unreliable. Where a parcel unavoidably matches or exceeds these dimensions the parcel postage will invariably exceed £20.00 and will usually go significantly higher - please remember that before bidding.
My patience with the South American and Russian postal system has ended. Strictly and absolutely, no bidders from the South or Central Americas (including Mexico) or the Russian Federation. No exceptions. If the Ebay system fails and a bidder successfully bids from any of the countries to which I do not sell goes through, that bidder will have monies immediately returned and the sale will not proceed.
