This is a line face iron by Tom Stewart, St Andrews. No number or name is stamped on the head. There is the early Stewart pipe mark without the trade mark verbiage. The larger hosel knicking is indicative of an early forging. The line scoring may well have been added later. It was retailed by H. Loveridge. He was at Shipley in West Yorkshire, England, for several years in the early 1900's. The shaft has no markings. This club is 38" long t...o the sole. It has 28* of loft and a swing weight of D-0. The head has been re set and whipping has been added to the shaft for strength. The replacement grip is a new black cow hide wrap, rough side out. The sole has very little evidence of play.This club is a player. Take it out of the box and put it into your play set. Buy with confidence. I ship ONLY to the USA. My standard shipping charge is $12.
