Exquisitely Detailed Painted Chainmail Mesh PurseEvening Bag ~ Circa1920's ~ Known As A Chatelaine Bag
Lovely light yellow, pink, red and green painted mesh with a lovely floral pattern. Pointed tips along base of purse. Purse is not lined. The metal frame has ornate scalloped designs and a ball top closure that works well.
Chain link handle has a 6" drop.
Purse measures 6 1/2" long x 4"
Manufactured by Whiting & Da...vis with original tiny metal tag intact attached to frame.Condition: See description and photos above. Sold as found.
