There were several piecesmanufactured in this pattern including – kettles, coffee pots, fondue-pots, plates, bowls, dutch-ovens, sauce-pots, spice jars, salt & pepper, canisters, ice-buckets, mixing-serving bowls, skillets, lasagna pans, Saturn Fondue-pot and more …. Most pieces were made in Norway, someout-sourced to Japan and elsewhere.Grete Prytz Kittlesen, a prominent Scandinavian award-winning designer of the1960s, is thought to have created the form-designand chose the distinct colouring of the LOTUS LINE of products. Kittlesenwas known for her BOLD “solid-colour choices with metal” LOOK, applied tosimple form-designs with clean lines. The LOTUSdesign itself was created in 1962 by another designer – Arne Clausen – whichwas combined with Kittlesen’s form-designs … to create a product that wasimmediately embraced by consumers – and is highly sought, even still. Generally - BOLD and BRIGHTcolours were released in the 1960s – more muted colours came in the 1970s tomeld with colour-trends – avocado, rust, wheat, sky-blue ….SHIPPING - Able to ship from Canada (default) OR US(please contact with request OR for pricing.
