We believe "John Allen" would have been proud to have had this "One of One - Work of Art" run on his "Gorre & Daphetid" Railroad!!! What is art? At an art show I viewed a painting with a $50, 000.00 price tag on it and I would not hang it in my home if were FREE!!! Art is in the "eye of the beholder"!!! It is an "acquired taste"!!! Sometimes it is instant "Love", and other times it has to "grow on you"!!! Look at those broken windows!!! That is LOVE!!!

To the dedicated modeler: The builder of these"custom pieces" is 82 years old and has more than 70 years ofmodeling experience to draw on. He is no longer building models and now lettinggo of some of his lifetime of treasured "adventures". A good portionof his renderings are "ONE OF A KIND" and will never be built again.Because of their rarity, our asking prices on some of the pieces may not be forthe beginner, the timid, or the "faint of heart", but more for theadvanced modeler or connoisseur of realistic renderings. The imagination andquality of workmanship devoted to these models is sure to make them stand out onany layout or in any collection. Quite often, we will get a message from amodeler asking if we have “any more” of something that they missed out on, butmore and more our reply seems to be… “Sorry… that was the last one of those… or… he only built one of those”. The builder of these models was quite prolificover his seventy year endeavor, but the “well will eventually run dry”!!!Remember… in most cases the “Canvas” used may have been inexpensive… but whatthe artist has applied to it… is where the value lies!!!

Unique, rare and quality custom made additions to the small layout will give untold pleasure and satisfaction to the modeler, and always impress visitors.
