Hi there’s one important thing I have to say about this radio. The dial marker does not remove the string in the back and the pulley fell off it’s not broken it just fell off but I don’t work on radios and I don’t want to rip this radio apart just to fix a dial marker because everything else on the radio was perfect the tunes in the stations it covers everything is just a little marker that shows your wood station you’re on doesn’t move but I want to make sure the people kn...ow thisThanks.The radio is in great condition. It’s short wave plus a.m. radio with a large antenna and another antenna that’s on top of the radio that detaches to a window or anything for better reception usually it’s 4 AM but I think the telescoping in town most does the same thing it pulls in a lot of stations there was an extra radio tube in the bottom of the cabinet and in the back door there’s the book that came with the radio talk all about it and a little catalog shows different models and that and even a price list for PARTS on the radio was the new prices are a little cheaper back in those days. If you have any questions I’d be glad to answer them I took a lot of pictures so you can see what I’m talking about. I’ve had this radio long time most of the time it’s been put away. But one thing these current radios are starting to get hard to find any decent shape also really use the lock in the field and that outside because they did come with batteries through there is a ticket inside that shows the number battery that it takes I think the batteries take over the whole bottom of the cabinet makes it way even more good imagine how much they cost.
