1800s Georgian Gamblers Horn & Sterling Silver Dice Box w 3 Matching Horn DiceThis is a small gamblers box that has all the traits and characteristics of having been made in the early years of the 19th century; 1800-1810 say. It is made with sides and sliding top of solid horn. The sliding top has a small sterling silver snail as its only, yet eccentric, decoration. It contains three dice marked in the conventional way with inlaid brass dots for numbers 1 to 6.It is in excellent condi...tion with no faults or damage other than a small seam split due to heat and climatic change; it's stable and adds to the antique character..
