Original Description:
Antique 1890's walnut J. P. Coats spool cabinet drawer with the word "white" in what I believe to be gutta percha an early form of plastic. This drawer came from a 6 drawer cabinet. The facing of this drawer is in excellent condition. The areas where the drawer pulls are placed have a floral design pressed into the wood.If you are familiar with Rich Penn's book "Mom & Pop Stores" this design of spool cabinet is on page 48-A. This drawer is 21 3/4" wide 2" deep or tall on the inside... while the exterior height of the drawer is 2 1/2" tall or deep and 16 1/8" from front to back NOT including the drawer pulls. I also have another drawer listed as well and would be happy to combine shipping.
