This listing is for an old Hickok 600 tube tester in workingorder. I am not an expert on tubes or tube testers, but I know alittle bit. I was able to test a fewtubes and the tester appears to workfine. However, I did not test everyfunction. The tube identification chart rolls smoothly. The case is solid but the cloth wrapping istattered in places, especially on the corners of the box as photos show. The cool greenish plastic handle is alsosolid. &...nbsp;As for the condition of the faceplate, I will let the photostell that story. It’s a little dirty andcould use a good cleaning. It is in overallnice condition. There are a few minor issues that I am aware of. The cord is beginning to crack and will needto be replaced at some time or wrapped in tape. The “PLATE” dial is stuck and Ican’t turn it. I didn’t want to break itso I left that alone. And, the knob for the“SUPPRESSOR” dial is loose and I can’t tighten it with the small screw so I amunsure if that dial turns as well. All other dials turn smoothly. One thing I do know is that there is nothing better thanHickok when it comes to vintage tube testers. This is a nice one collectors! Thank you.
