Tonight I'm happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Sherman, Vintage, Late 1950's - Hot Pink and Charcoal Color - Round and Marquise Shaped Crystals - 2" Floral Capped Triple Spiral Cluster Motif Brooch and Earring Set. EXTREMELY RARE DESIGN & COLOR COMBINATION! - MINT CONDITION! - NO RESERVE! This handsome and impressive set dates from the late 1950's, made by the well known Canadian firm of "Sherman" designed as a large sized 2" by 2" floral capped triple spiral cluster... featuring alternating lines of marquise and round shaped crystals layered and stacked for a 3-D effect. The set is done in a series of dazzling and intense hot pink and charcoal color round and marquise shaped crystals set in a rhodium plated setting. The brooch comes with a pair of 1.25" spiral cluster earrings that match the nain details in the brooch.
The set is in mint condition showing only normal use all the original stones, none missing or replaced with no loss to the finish or plating on the back of the brooch or earrings. The brooch is marked on the back, Sherman in script letters in a small silver square and Sherman on the back of the ear clips. SHERMAN Sherman was a Canadian costume jewelry company that produced very high-quality pieces. Colorful or clear prong-set rhinestones or cut crystal beads (sometimes with an aurora borealis finish) adorn most Sherman pieces; the metal is rhodium-plated or gold-plated. "Jewels of Elegance" by Sherman was written on some carded Sherman jewelry. Sherman produced jewelry from 1947-1981. As I usually do I'm offering this item at a LOW opening with NO RESERVE.
