This is a Bachmann "G" scale locomotive. It is a "Western style" 4-6-0 #26. It is used and quite dusty/dirty. I put voltage to the wheels and they did move slightly in both directions- so the motor does seem to work. I am sure the wheels need to be cleaned for better contact and the engine lubricated. It does seem to be in overall good physical condition with no major parts.
The engine HAS a switch for both SMOKE and SOUND- but I have NOT been able to test either to see if they actu...ally do work or if need repair.
This is a nice, big, well-detailed engine that, with a bit of TLC might look pretty good on the track again!
