Disturnell, 1836. 12mo, decorative cloth with paper label on the front, there is a half inch split in the cloth on the back hinge, but both hinges are ... quite sound. The cover has a leafy pattern pressed onto the cloth. One fold out map has a 3 inch closed tear and is frayed where the bottom extends about 1/8th inch beyond the rest of the pages. Quite a nice copy of a rare, early travel guide by the well-known book and map publisher John Disturnell. Sabin 96488 Frontispiece, 72pp plus another plate and 3 fold out maps [COMPLETE] 5" x 3 1/2"
