The slipcases are strong and solid, which is very rare for this title! There is a shelf rubbing wear on the bottom of both slipcases and some amount of scuffing/rubbing on tops and sides. VERY GOOD+ slipcases
The books seem in a great condition overall. Spines are slightly sunned, and there is some rubbing on the sides of the covers – only noticeable when I specifically look for it. Also, I have just noticed a tiny tear on the top of the spine of the first volume (surely from an incorrect pulling on it when taking out of the slipcase) and some staining on the cover of the first volume that seems to have been used more than the others, so it is actually uniformly sunned; still I rank the books as VERY GOOD, mostly because of the slight sunning; otherwise, they would really be near fine or better, in my opinion. Inside they seem absolutely perfect to me!This is arguably one of the best sets that Limited Editions Club ever produced, and it is in an excellent condition!Great chance! I am pricing it below average price for which sets like this (in worse condition) have sold in the past.I am selling some other books from my collection by Limited Editions Club, Easton Press, Arion Press, Centipede Press, etc. Please check my other listings and come back in a little while to check on new listings.
