Mid-Century Robert Sonneman for George Kovacs iron & chrome floor lamp. Classic minimalist form at its best. Great collectible piece to add to your MCM interiors.
Iron base and chrome rod in excellent vintage condition. Adjustable rectangular white enameled aluminum shade head in very good condition with age appropriate wear. The lamp will need a simple rewire - easy DIY project.

Sonneman's innovative light... fixtures are studies in movement, weight, and balance. His designs are critically lauded and have been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum.
Note - this is one of the last remaining items in an empty house so I will not be able to pack and ship...as I'm 3400 miles away. Listed as local pick up only, however, I can work with a blanket wrap shipper at buyers expense.
