We picked this up at an estate sale at Lake Tahoe, we were told they thought it was purchased in San Francisco in the 1920s. This is a Friedrich Mauthe Schwenningen FMS Carriage clock distributed by K. C. Co. or Kuehl Clock Company. It has a music box alarm that works, here is a Youtube video (https://youtu.be/OjYq_cK6OhA). I wound the clock but not all the way and it ran for 5 hours and kept great time. The nickel finish ha...s some pitting and loss but is in overall good condition (see photos). It measures 6” tall and 5 ¼” wide at the base. The clock is being sold in “As Found” condition.
