This was sent to me in 1993 from Sabian. You can see it on the counter in the picture from my store with the guitar tech at work. This is the first time ever offered for sale. There are no manufacturing markings but at that time most things they sent were Made In Canada so that would be my best guess. As a former store owner I'd had cymbal trees previously. Nothing like this! It's and eye catcher and I can tell you it sold a lot of splash cymbals! When they sent it I thought... it was the coolest thing. I still do. That's why I kept it. After 25 years it's time for someone else to appreciate it. Maybe you have lot's of splashes or it could be a lot of things. I think it would be great in the kitchen! Could be a funky wine glass or utensil holder. It would also be very cool in a bathroom for hand towels TP etc. Well, you could also use it for splash cymbals! :)It's carefully engineered for balance with a 10.25" stone-like base to use a small counter footprint. It could easily have commercial applications such as a Restaurant, Barber Shop, Beauty Salon, Art gallery, Curiosity Store, Pub, Clothing Store, Custom Jewelry Store etc. Use your imagination! It's in great shape. As you can see the colors are stunning! It's a heavy, well built structure for it's compact size. The wrench to attach the base IS INCLUDED!. Sorry, the splash cymbal isn't included.
