The Bank ofNew Orleans bank notes are much harder to find than the more common Canal Bank, Citizens Bank and Bank of Louisiana Notes. Of the over 150 obsolete Louisianabank notes I searched currently on eBay, only two were issued by the Bank ofNew Orleans. These notes were all issued on Feb. 5, 1862 and are signed by a Cash.rand Pres.t. The Five and Twenty notes have the same signatures and the Ten andFifty notes have the same signatures. Note the Five and Twenty signatures aredifferen...t than the Ten and Fifty.
I don’tcollect paper money so I’m not familiar with the grading system. I would saythey are in fair, circulated condition with some tears in each bill and wornedges and corners as pictured.
