Original Description:
PCGS authenticated and graded AU 55. Charcoal steel, olive, and gold patina with moderate roughness on the surfaces. Holed at the top of the obverse and has the appearance of being buried in the ground for a time, as is commonly found on these examples. The North West Company was a North American fur trading company and the biggest competitor to the Hudson Bay Company. They issued these tokens in 1820 and valued them at one beaver pelt.
