Delightful Antique Asia Minor Repoussé Pattern Sterling Silver Petit Fours Bowl This bowl is estimated to date to the early years of the 20th century; say 1900-1910. It is with silver stamps that we can’t recognise; tests confirm it is 925 sterling silver. It was most likely made in Asia Minor and could come from Persia through to the Indian Sub-Continent.It is round in shape with tall steep sides and sits a short stem with low domed foot. It is profusely decorated with a continuou...s traditional repoussé work depicting exotic flowers and foliage. There is a crested area with a family crest of a bird surmounted by a crown; it doesn’t look to be an English family crest. It is in good antique condition; some small dints to the base which don’t detract; no further faults or damage to report; just a little expected wear.
