This is anice WW2 made US Military pilot or air crew / aircrew radio headset, it has thestandard ANB-H-1 radio receivers with the rubber earpads that attach to thereceiver pieces, it has the nice leather covered head band or head piece, thisone also has a radio plug that would plug it into the aircraft. I am not sureif the radio plug and cord are original to this headset, I don’t know for sure, you can see where this one has been rewired into the original headset and earphonewiring. ...The plug size and shape looks correct though from others I have had inthe past. The rubber earpads or ear cups are the harder to find part of this headset, as usually they are just simply missing. These are present tho, and theyactually are still a bit soft and spongy. They do show the typical age that oldrubber pieces like them usually do though, the pics will show it. They do notlook new out of the box due to their age and storage, but the earpieces and theheadset as a whole, are really very nice and clean. These would probably workwell for a display or living history use. They are a very iconic and classicpiece of WW2 Army and Air Corps and USMC and Navy aircrew equipment and are incountless studio shots and in use while flying shots.
