Up for bid is a very rare vintage Lion Head planter from Italy (approximately from the 50's). The bottom is marked Italy, and shows some wear. It is in very good condition, with one slight glaze chip (just by the surface, please see pictures). No cracks, nor crazing.Some tiny white spots are due to non-coverage of the glaze, perhaps during the process of putting the glaze or just bubbles.It is approximately 12 inches in length from the snout of the lion to the back of the planter, 8 in...ches in height, and about 9 inches in diameter.
