Vintage ROGERS HOLIDAY SNARE DRUM mahogany finish, 14" x 5" with 8 lugs, none of which are cracked. According to The Rogers Book (page 146), Monitors were made between 1955 and 1960 with Mahogany shells. It has a script badge, and ridged lugs which probably put it in the 1958 - 1960 range. I'd love to keep this, but it's time to start downsizing, and this drum DESERVES TO BE PLAYED! It's been sitting on display in my living room, but that just makes me feel... guilty. The drum was built in Cleveland, OH and the inside label shows # 7555. I'm NOT a Rogers expert, but everything looks to be original, with the exception of a couple tension rod washers. The chrome is in really nice shape, given the age. The shell has some scratches on it. No cracks in the hardware or shell, the bearing edges are very good, and there are no weird wrinkles in the heads after tuning. Buy this thing, and PLAY IT! You'll love it, and it's a piece of history. Shipping is $25.00 to anywhere in the Continental U.S. Please, no international bidders. I ship quickly!
