One of a kind!
Just finished, this beautiful, large tapestry, shoulder flap bag, with seven pockets and loads of wonderful embellishments, including vintage jewelry, velvet flowers, large tassel and so much more!
Handmade by me.
Majority of materials used to create my bags are up-cycled from my long time collection of unique textiles, vintage linens, trims and found treasures. This makes them earth friendly and one of a kind. I may make similar styles, but no two b...ags are ever exactly the same.
This is a large ''U'' shaped shoulder bag with a flap. The body is made from a patchwork of lovely tapestries, velvet, and fabrics. There is one roomy pocket on the outside back and six pockets inside the bag. The color of this bag is mostly neutral/black, with other accent colors including blush.
The lined flap is made with black lace, trimmed with vintage lace, bullion fringe and a ruffle. The flap is embellished with pretty vintage jewelry and large tassel. The cameo brooch is pinned not sewn.
The front of the bag is embellished with velvet flowers, pearl type beads, vintage brooch, rhinestone buttons, tulle, collage of fringe and more.
The back of the bag has a large roomy pocket that is embellished with bullion fringe, vintage lace, pretty brooch and gold tone tassels. The gold tone brooch with chains is pinned and not sewn.
The perimeter of the bag has layers of vintage lace and ruffles.
The tapestry shoulder strap has a collage of buttons, some vintage.
The lining and six pockets inside are made from a toile' fabric with a black background and whimsical Victorian images. Magnetic snap closure.
Comes with a lovely hang tag, signed by me.
This bag is 16'' tall (19'' including fringe).It is 20.5'' across at the widest point.The strap is 33'' long from end to end. Strap drop is 20''.The one pocket on the outside back is 7'' tall and 7'' across at the top. This pocket tapers to a subtle ''V''.The six pockets on the inside are all approximately 5.5'' across and 6.25'' tall.Weighs: 1 lb 10 oz.
Double stitched for durability, even more stitching in high stress areas. All embellishments are securely stitched, unless I note that a brooch is pinned.
