Original Description:
A wonderful antique purse...from the early 1910's to 30's...the fabric is a fine needlework tapestry...there is a portrait of a woman along with a garden scene and scrolls on the front side...on the back side are pink roses and birds with wings...the work is exquisite...the frame is set with blue stones and faux pearls with a filigree design...silk lining inside...in really nice condition...there is one of the faux pearls missing...the tapestry is in good condition but it needs a few s...titches where it is hooked to the frame...the bag itself measures about 6 1/2" by 7" and is about 13 3/4" long with the chain...such a gorgeous work of art to use or to add to any collection!
