Excellent quality genuine 203 year old silver example; a nice uncommon shape decorated with attractive period prick/wriggle work engraving and has a very unusual fluted bowl end. Has an undamaged silver handle and there are no added personal monograms or crests. It weighs just 6.7 grams.Measurements Measures approx. 3.25 inches (82mm) in length, the bowl measures 1.75 inches (45mm) x 1.3 inches (33mm). Date English antique Georgian solid sterling silver, with a full set of English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1816, (date letter "s"). Excellent clear struck marks and includes the sovereigns duty stamp of King George the Third.Maker Silversmiths initials "C & B", (Cocks & Bettridge - 1796 - 1817). Condition Lovely clean condition, and 100% guaranteed genuine. No splits or cracks to the silver, no solder repairs and no nasty knocks or dents, a great example and a nice uncommon design.
