Superb J W Benson Solid 9 Carat Gold Bank Model Crown Wind Gents Half Hunter Pocket Watch in excellent condition & perfect working order.This watch winds smoothly & runs perfectly keeping accurate time & is one of the best i have seen in a long time.It is clearly hallmarked all over for London 1927 & with the case makers mark JWB (Benson). Bears the serial number 2159 on both covers & movement.As you can see from the detailed pictures this watch is in amazing condition throughout with... just a couple of minor edge dinks of little consequence. Dial is in mint condition bearing the makers name.Front cover springs open perfectly to 90 degrees when top winder is puched.Fine mint condition three quarter plate English movement fully signed as pictured.Beautifully engraved monogram to back cover & presentation inscription to inner dust cover as pictured in image 17.A truly excellent pocket watch still suitable for regular & practical use & becoming increasingly difficult to find in this condition.Size: 50mm diameter, 70mm including loop, 13mm thick & weighs 97.3 grams.See all 23 images.
