New to Ebay, but have been collecting for 40 years, and now it's time to sell. This is a rare original 1940s vintage DeWald catalin A-502 radio. Beautiful chocolate brown marbleized body and knobs with a butterscotch grill. It is as I found it - I wiped down the cabinet and gave it a quick polish. The interior cabinet parts appear to be intact. I don't think it was ever touched. The dial and dial knob work properly as does the ON/OFF knob. There are two cracks in the b...ody. At the lower left corner (About 2" long) and the top left front corner (About 1" long) - see photos. There are also two cracks in the same bar on the grill - see close-up photos. Otherwise, it is in what I think is pretty nice shape. The original cord is stiff and will need to be replaced, if desired. This would make a nice addition to any vintage radio collection.
