Original Description:
An original Civil War letter that was written by a soldier named Andrew who was in the 5th U.S. Artillery.  It looks like it is dated Feb. 28th 1864 from New Orleans Louisiana. In the letter he says his cough is worse and he spit up blood.  I currently have other letters listed that were written by this soldier.  The letter has wear and stain marks, there is edge wear. There is a part missing, I'm not sure if... there was any writing in this area.       If you have any questions feel free to ask. Thank you for looking.
