Street Plan Of GLASGOW Antique Print 1885 By J. Bartholomew Edin.
Item History & Price
This is an authentic original, (n.b. this doesn't mean its unique), antique coloured print folded street plan of the city of Glasgow.
Printed by J. Bartholomew of Edinburgh. It has been removed from "The Ordanance Gazetteer of Scotland” published by Thomas C. Jack of London in 1885.
I would desc...ribe this print as being in good clean condition with nice bright colours, (ideal for framing), the paper is slightly yellowed as you would expect in any print that is 133 years old. Please note there are some blemishes here and there, particularly to the borders of the map, however if you intend framing this map most of these would be covered with a mount. This is a FOLDED MAP that has two fold lines across its width and a ragged edge at one end where its previously stitched in.
The actual print measures approximately 350 mm. x 236 mm. It will be sent FOLDED along its original folds in a padded envelope sandwiched between cardboard.
A picture is worth a thousand words, so please study my unedited scans as they form part of the description of this item, and will enable you to form your own opinion before purchasing or making an offer.
