Vintage Omega Constellation Chronometer Automatic Day Date Watch
This is a lovely all original example of the Omega Constellation Chronometer with quick set day and date. The stainless case is in stunning condition and the hatched silver dial is still fabulous. It has the original Omega signed crown. The plexi-glas crystal is also like new. It is powered by an automatic winding Omega 751 movement and it is working very well.
DialThe silver cross hatched dial is untouched and in b...eautiful condition. It has slim polished batten hour markers and Omega logo.
Hands The slender lumed hour and minute hands are in stunning condition as is the polished second hand. CaseThe stainless case is in great condition and looks larger on the wrist than the 34mm diameter. It has not been polished and still retains its sharp edges. It is in very good condition for its age but does have very minor marks and knocks from wear over the years. Case BackThe signed original screw fit case back is stunning with the logo on the back. It is stamped Omega as shown in the photos. Crown The watch has the original signed Omega signed that changes the time and date smoothly. The date quick sets by pulling the crown out to its second position. MovementThe watch case houses the original Omega 751 signed automatic winding movement with quick set date. It is currently working well and keeping good time. As with all vintage watches it would benefit from regular servicing to maintain accurate time keeping and functionality. CrystalThe watch has a new plexi-glas crystal with. It is in excellent condition with no scratches or marks. BandThe watch is hung on a new 20mm black ostrich style leather band with a silver coloured buckle. Please note this is a vintage watch and is in original condition. As with all period pieces it would benefit from a service and regular servicing to keep it running smoothly.
