This listing is for an antique Italian majolica figural wall hanging of Madonna and Child by Professor Eugenio Pattarino (1885-1971). This piece measures 12.5" high and 4.25" at its widest. The piece is beautifully sculpted and painted with incredible detail throughout. It is further enhanced with heavily applied gilt accents. This sculpture is signed on verso "PROF. E. PATTARINO - ITALY". The sculpture appears to have a small repair to a single prong of The Madonna's Crown and 2 very ...minor spots near the base where the glaze is gone. There is a small spot on the foot where the terracotta appears to be possibly splitting. None of these are noticable unless the work is scrutinized. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS. This work is sold as is. Please see the many photographs for more on the look and condition as they are an important part of the description. Prof. E.
