You are bidding on an extremely rare Heath Ceramics teapot c. 1955. The pot is marked with the early Heath and teacup with a registration mark dating it to the early to mid-1950's. The glaze is a beautiful bronze fading to a golden wheat. The copper wrapped handle matches the reddish brown of the copper with the green-gold tan of ripe wheat grains. The handle is in excellent condition and remains in its upright condition as the holes securing it are sound and unworn.The teapot measures... approximately 4.25" h and 6.75" high with the handle upright. It is 9" overall length (including spout) and the body is 7" in diameter. The teapot is in excellent vintage condition free from chips, cracks or other defects.
