Featured in this auction is a beautiful Italian pottery Madonna by Giovanni Ronzan. Giovanni Ronzan was chief painter and ceramic designer at Lenci before he opened his own company in 1939. This Madonna shows the same perfection in decoration and design that was done at Lenci. She is 9" tall x 5.75" wide and is in overall excellent condition with only one tiny 1/16" very flat glaze flake on the outside edge toward the bottom and an even smaller one above tha...t as shown in a greatly enlarged close up photo. This is barely noticeable in person. Other than this it is in extremely good condition with no chips or cracks. The surface is in excellent condition and is very clean. The gold is also excellent. It is signed Ronzan Made in Italy. It will weigh 5 pounds when double boxed and safely packed. Full insurance is included in the shipping. Bid with confidence and good luck.
