Being listed are a series of circa 1990 miniswirl utilitarian pots by Catawba Valley potter Charles Lisk. Charlie is one ofthe most famous NC Folk Potters. Heoriginally worked with A.V. Smith in Sanford, NC at Clenny Pottery, postgraduating from Appalachian State University. In 1981 he moved to the Catawba Valley and got to know potter BurlonCraig. The rest is Catawba Valleycontemporary pottery history. He is nowofficially retired but we shall see! ...>Likely took the least time to turn, but this miniswirl vase is still highly legit. Still classy little pot. Mini pot replicas of traditionalutilitarianware are very challenging to master. And to make them in a legit swirl takes another level of expertise. This swirl is very good. Stands 2.75" by2.5"wide. Stamped CL. Mint condition.
