2X The Hill School Pottstown PA Dining Hall China Navy Band w/Motto Luncheon, Salad or Dessert PlatesVintage Dinnerware made for the renowned The Hill School Pottstown, PA USA [an Independent, College-prep, Day & Boarding school] Their alumnus include notable Americans - all pieces are by Shenango China based in New Castle, Pennsylvania, USA [operating 1901-1991]They are heavy/thick - None of them have nicks, hairlines, crazing or utensil marks - Their bac...kside bear a few manufacturing imperfections and this is the way they were made [including small bubbles and small areas of no glaze] - all have been backstamped but conditions vary, some better than others [we have BREAD PLATES, SOUP BOWLS, SALAD/DESERT PLATES and 4 companion DINNER PLATES that do not have their motto]This listing is for 2 'Whatsoever things are true' dishes: for Lunch or such - with minute surface wear, they are in wonderful condition!
