I am listing for your consideration several listings for various dining hall china from the Hill School. The school is a prestigious exclusive preparatory boarding school located in Pottstown, Pennsylvania (35 miles northwest of Philadelphia). The school was founded in 1851 as the Family Boarding School for Boys and Young Men. It was the first of its kind in America. The School’s motto, "Whatsoever Things Are True" (Philippians 4:8) underlines the school's philosoph...y and forms the basis for its Honor Code. This motto is on the ribbon of the Schools insignia. The insignia is on some pieces of the set. This listing is for a butter pat. It does not have the school insignia but is decorated with the blue band to match other school china in this pattern. This small piece also does not have the manufacture mark; but again matches the other pieces marked Shenango China. The pat is 3 3/8” in diameter. It is in fine, vintage condition with no nicks chips or stains on edge or face, as with institutional china there may be nicks on bottom from stacking and kitchen ware. Pieces may have minor utensil marks but nothing significant or distracting. This is a buy it now for one pat. Postage will be a flat $3.50 for US domestic delivery; if addition pats are purchased for combined delivery I will add a flat $1 for each additional butter pat.
