A really fine quality transparent forest - green glass snuff bottle of rounded flattened form, beautifully carved in low relief around the whole bottle with plants growing gourds. The bottle is supported on a well carved oval foot rim and has a very wide mouth which most of the early glass bottles had. Measures 5.5 cms in height.This is a quality bottle with a very attractive green tone which probably dates from the late 18th or early 19thC.
Condition. Two hairline cracks to t...he neck area (see photo's 11 and 12) Missing it's stopper and spoon.
