We have a vintage 1960's large ashtray, or, decorative dish. Manufactured by Blue Mountain Pottery Canada (BMP). Made in Canada. The glaze is titled 'Granite', and the design is a six lipped deep dish ashtray. The back-stamp is the hand printed 'BMP CANADA' of the mid to late 1960's.
The dish is clean, debris free, no chips, cracks, hairlines, nicks, crazing, or stains. This art piece is an original and one-of-a-kind to the experienced ceram...ic collector. Fully functional and beautifully glazed out of the kiln final firing, this ashtray measures 9.5 x 9.5 x 1.75 inches and is 29.5 inches around at largest point.
