The clock features various embossed designs and decorations all of which are in great condition. There is 5 matching blue sevres porcelain panels which are of the highest quality with amazing hand painted decoration which only adds to the overall beautiful display look. The clock has superb proportions with a urn to the top and 4 lady figure head pillars, the case has been refinished at some point i its life but has a wonderful colour to it you wouldn't knowThe Clock Measures - 14.25 inches high x 9.5 inches wide x 5.25 inches deepDialThe clock has a matching full length cobalt blue sevres porcelain dial which has roman numerals. This is a stunning antique French 8 day bell striking mantel clock which has a gilt metal case and superb cobalt blue sevres porcelain panels. Dial
The clock has a matching full length cobalt blue sevres porcelain dial which has roman numerals. The clock has its brass hands and the hand painted decoration is second to none and really makes this clock stand out, there is a hairline going across the dial as you can see in the pictures but is tight and not cracking
Movement
The movement is a high quality French 8 day bell striking movement which strikes on the half past and on the hours, the movement is in full working order keeping time with its french pendulum and comes with a winding key, the movement is stamped with the makers mark of Japy Freres and dates to circa 1860
