2 Sides WWII 1944 AAF Cloth Escape Map Philippine Series C-40 Luzon Chart No.34. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS First Class Package. This is an original, Vintage WW2 Army Air Force 2 sided "escape" map dated 1944. These maps were used by the the U S pilots, in case their planes were shot down, to help them plan a route to safety. The maps were made of light weight fabric, silk. The Restriction printed on the map is no longer in effect. This map measures 27 1/4" by 20 1/4". A Wond...erful item to frame! It has been packed away for years in a no smoke home. Please see all the photos for the best description. I am not an expert, but know this belonged to one of our family, a pilot in that war.
