Here is a stunning and rare Art Deco 1920's modernistic flapper lady chrome metal statue from San Francisco Estate. Made in U.S.A. Circa 1920's. She is exquisite! This wonderful deco lady is holding her fan shaped shirt out with both arms away from her body. She has a 1920's flapper hairdo, and she is standing on a blue glass over a silver metal footed base. The overall measurement is 5-1/2" tall, 5" long, and 4" wide. There is similar lady in ...the "Collector's Guide to Art Deco" dated 1997, on Page #146, that shows a value of $145.00 (see picture). This pretty deco lady is made of metal with a silver painted finish. There is an oval blue glass with foil on top of a gold painted metal base. There are no signatures or manufacturer marks, but she is marked with the number "A416" on the bottom (see picture). The condition is amazingly very good except for a crack on the lady's ankle (it looks like is might be a repair) and normal stress cracks in the metal from age. See picture. The estimated value was $125.00 according to the estate. Our reserve is only $39.00. This fabulous deco lady came from an estate in San Francisco, and is quality.
