Here is a stunning and rare Art Deco 1920's modernistic "Bat Girl" flapper lady porcelain figurine from San Francisco Estate. Made in Germany. Circa 1920's. She is absolutely exquisite! Just can't capture her true beauty with the camera. This wonderful deco lady has a black flapper 1920's hairdo, brown eyes, eye shadow & lashes, red lips, and rosy cheeks. She is wearing a cape like wings with geometric circles & shapes (similar to the Goldsch...eider "bat girl"). This beautiful deco lady is standing on one leg with other leg bent in back, her arms are stretched out to the sides, and hands are turned up. The deco design is stunning, and the colors are brilliant. The overall measurement is 9" tall, 5-1/2" wide, and 3-1/2" deep. She made of porcelain material with a glossy and matt finish. The colors are orange, green, black, blue, red, brown, yellow, gold, black, and white. This gorgeous piece is signed "Germany" with logo in green on the bottom. See picture. The condition is amazingly very good except for a crack and missing thumb on one hand only, which can be fixed, also some normal paint lost (on tip of hat and tip of shoe). Other than that, she looks perfect. No other chips, breaks, cracks, etc. The estimated value was $395.00 according to the estate. Our reserve is only $125.00. This fabulous deco lady came from an estate in San Francisco, and is vintage. She has a great deco look - very modernistic and unique. Pictures don't do her justice.
