Here is a stunning and rare Art Deco modernistic nude "lady in ring" metal single bookend from the "Frankart" Era. Circa 1920's. She is exquisite! This wonderful deco lady is standing in the middle of a ring with arms stretched to the sides. She is standing on one leg with her other leg bent up. This awesome piece has that classic deco look of the 1920's. The overall measurement is 8-3/4" tall, 6-1/4" wide, and 1-3/4" deep. This cool deco... lady is made of cast iron metal with a golden bronze finish - a magnet will stick to her. There are no signatures or manufacture marks, but there is the number "S-208" on the back. See picture. The condition is amazingly very good - no chips, breaks, or repairs. The estimated value was $150.00 according to the estate. Our reserve is only $75.00. This fabulous deco lady bookend came from an estate in San Francisco, and is quality. She has a great deco look - very modernistic and unique. Pictures don't do her justice.
