Identified as STOCK NO. 9777300. Type 12 Unit. Manufactured by the MINE SAFETY APPLIANCES CO., Pittsburg, PA. The steel case is rugged, designed for use in a combat environment. The ...four latches work well, the lid opens and closes well, and it has a carrying handle that works properly, The case is approximately 9 1/4 inches wide, 4 3/4 inches deep, and 2 1/2 inches high. Overall in good condition for its age and use. Refer to the pictures for more detail. Inside the top lid is a table of contents / general first aid instructional sheet. Enclosed are correct period individually boxed first aid packages, five (5) were distributed by the Mine Safety Appliances Company (MSA), five (5) were distributed by The American National Red Cross, Washington, D.C.. and the SCISSORS, TOURNIQUET, AND FORCEPS (a double unit) was distributed by WILLIAM V. MACDILL CO., Chicago, ILL. All are filled and are period correct. Also included is a reproduction safety pin card.
