An original circa 1850's 1/6th plate daguerreotype of two sisters whose dresses have been made from the same patterned cloth. The younger child seems very unhappy about the process of photography. Condition - the thin line over the little girls eye is a scratch on the inside of the cover glass not on the plate which is free of any wipes, brushes or scratches. There are some tiny black specks in the lower area of the dresses. Image has excellent clarity and contrast and is completely fr...esh to the market.
