Vintage 1926-27 Ludwig and Ludwig Deluxe Standard Model "Black Beauty". Measures 5X14", 10 lugs, 12 point floral pattern engraved in the shell. Most of the black nickel is gone and there are two extra holes in the shell. A bulb has been placed inside the snare utilizing one of the extra holes for the electrical cord, the second hole has a screw through it. No extra hole was created installing the bulb and it is removable. There is a cracked top rim which can be repaired and color match...ed, a slightly bent bottom rim, a slightly bent rod and minor nicks and scrapes due to normal use. Non original heads of which the batter has a 3/16" slit. A new Drum Seeker padded case is included. This Black Beauty was professionally restored by the infamous Mike Curotto (thanks Mike) who has the greatest collection of the most rare vintage snare drums in the world. The drum will be well packaged and insured.
