A beautiful boxed set of six very ornate antique Victorian solid sterling silver Tea spoons assayed in London by Henry Holland in 1868. Full, clear, matching English hallmarks.
Beautifully decorated with acanthus leaves which symbolised longevity / immortality in Victorian times but has also been symbolic through Greek and Roman periods. Apostle finials. A very good quality set of spoons in very good condition. The box is showing signs of age as per the photos. Please enlarge the ph...otos.
The spoons measure 110 mm / 4 5/16th inches in length and they weigh 103 grs + the box. No reserve.Any questions please ask. Postage is signed for and I do combine costs.
