This Sam Browne belt was purchased from the family and includes all items seen in the photo. Belt is stamped '34' and the name "Hath' is inscribed on the inside . As you can see in the photo's the officer was: S. A Hath, Class of 1941The family stated he was an artillery officer who fought with Patton's 3rd Army. Not sure what the significance of the pennant or the patches are but they were included with the lot and are being passed on to you.On another auction we have a WWII pock...et Bible from the family dated 1942 and inscribed to 'Stu' and on another other auction are his sons Vietnam Black paratrooper jump boots. The family stated the son was killed in Vietnam. On the website for the Vietnam memorial we found a name listed: James Stuart Hath Killed in Quang Ngai province on 9/5/68 BID WITH CONFIDENCE.
