It is hardly noticeable, see pictures 4 and 5 for close up view.For your consideration a highly collectible and sought after P...eacock Brooch designed by Marcel Boucher. This piece is part of a set, which is genuine and consists of beautiful peacock brooch and matching clip earrings. The brooch is signed BOUCHER© for authenticity. It is numbered 8068P. Dates 1955-1960. The brooch is 14K Gold-plated base metal with metallic cobalt blue enamel paved with cobalt blue rhinestones invisibly set in a 3-dimensional layered bird/peacock design. The feathers have high domed cabochons of emerald green at the tips with sapphire blue chatons invisibly set below each cab. The bird’s feathers are textured gold tone accentuated with tiny cobalt blue rhinestones. Dimensions: The brooch measures 2" by 1 3/4". Condition: There is no sign of patina. The pin is straight, sharp and sturdy and fits into the latch. The latch is intact and locks tight and securely. I have not seen any cracked, chipped or missing stones, and they all seem original. No chipping or peeling of the enamel. This is part of my personal collection. This brooch is still absolutely beautiful after so many years. NEAR MINT CONDITION ~ ONE FLAW which is hardly noticeable.
